No Argentine champion in 2021
The event organized by the YCO (Yacht Club Olivos), started in great shape with three races held in superb winds from 14 to 17 knots a sunny day, high waters. But on Sunday everything conspired against the championship, a real heavy rainstorm, with changing winds in intensity and direction prevented even to finish the only one race started. USA 845 Baum, Bailey and Lennie new Chesapeake Fall Bowl Champions
It was not a very scary Halloween Sunday on the Chesapeake for the final day of racing. Just a perfect (and slightly unusual) westerly with a fair amount of chop for the short fetch on the course at 10-15 knots provided for two perfect and highly competitive races as the results attest. Dave Baum prevailed with 2 bullets for the day and won th  ...      Posted on 31/10/2021 by Henry Thomas, read by 185 Comments 0

Fall Bowl day 2 - It's a Nor'easter!!! And a might frothy too…
Racing was cancelled (50 knots at the Annapolis yellow bout at 1200 hrs) and all hands joined in the move Solings to higher ground as easterly winds pushed the Annapolis Harbor water levels to 5' above normal mean tide. Oysters and chowder later made it all fun. Sailors are ready for the great weather predicted for Saturday and Sunday. O  ...      Posted on 30/10/2021 by Henry Thomas, read by 222 Comments 0
