A bit too much to be called champagne sailing and probably sometimes missing some sun, but it was almost there, three races were achieved with duration of approximate hour and 10 min.

The wind from 230-240 degrees initially around 15 knots then gusts came to end reaching 20 knots at some spots, the downed to the left was always a nice ride in the surfing waves of about a meter, the gate at the bottom mark with not enough separation pushing into a congestion some times.

NOR 156 helmed by Anders O Pedersen sailing with Kjell Heigberg and Alexander Ringstad are the ones with the handling, the knowledge and unbelievable the feeling for the boat, they scored two bullets and a second place, leading the overall with a 3 pts margin over NED 131 helmed by Christian Neergard sailing with Trond Solli Saether and Joachin Nordle , the managed two seconds and a third in the last race of the day.

NOR 142 helmed by Hermann Horn Johannessen sailing with Cesar Horn Johannessen and Lars Horn Johannessen started with a third then a 5th and then the bullet of the last race placing them at the podium so far only 2 pts behind the immediate follower.

Some boats had to come back inshore after a couple of issues, a ripped spinnaker, a forestay disconnection and to some just exhaustion of three long races in powerful winds with some waves in which many have not interacted so often.

Tomorrow more wind is expected, time of start might change, so pay attention, one race is remaining to validate the championship, but Race Officer might attempt to run more than one if conditions allow.

Tonight Kristian Neergard is the man of the night sponsoring the gathering at 1700hs at the Marina Bar, where everything happens from changing rooms, sails storage, skipper meetings and the class meetings under the supervision of Ana and Lars Ingeberg passionate Soling lovers that tonight they will offer the typical Friday Norwegian Tacos.
