NOR 156 Pedersen, Heigberg and Ringstar crowned in Grimstad

It was a great light air day at the Grimstad fjord, the sun at its most, the last three races of the Norwegian championship were held in the racecourse outside the fjord. The wind which started Northeast and started to veer to the East more and more during the day, never had more than 10 knots, but enough to finish the Norwegian Championship with all scheduled races.

At the first race twice Soling world champion GER 1 helmed by Roman Koch sailing with Bjoern Geisler and Elena Strauch took a fantastic bullet home and they were followed by NOR 142 helmed by Lars Ingeberg sailing with Bjorn Johanson and Oisten Christoffessen the locals deep involved in the night revolution after races at the Marina Bar, in third came Norwegian Olympic legend for Norway in 1992, NOR 100 helmed by Rune Jacobsen sailing with Thom Haaland and Terje Sorteberg .

The Race Committee had to do changes in the racecourse and had the AP up for a while before the second race, when the one started NOR 100 did it and achieved their bullet showing their skills, in second came the champions NOR 156, they could not be reached anymore and in third the surprise from Sweden the boat SWE 122 helmed by Janne Nilsson sailing with Petter Norrgren and Hakan Johansson.

The third race with same nice conditions was all about being the locals, NOR 142 did their job and came to the Marina Bar with their bullet they were followed by another local boat but this time the young stars from NOR 141 helmed by August Austfjord sailing with IOrjan Flo and Daniel Fjaere Flo and in third team Helly Hansen NOR 131 helmed by Kristian Neegard sailing with Trond Solli Saether and Joachin Nordle.

Anders O Pedersen with Kjell inge Heigberg and Alexander Ringstad became the Norwegians champions sailing their NOR 156 a good mood start to face the next week the European Championship.
