A difficult title decided on race ninth of the event where the local team granted a great 2nd place following the legend UKR 1 helmed by Sergey Pichuguin sailing with Liubov Chunikhovska and Sergey Ivansits, AUT 7 helmed by Florian Felzmann sailing with Michael Felzmann and Stephan Beurle finished 3rd enough to shake the overall resuls also putting pressure in the Brazilian Team Carioba.

The result at this nineth race defined three special trophies like the Tony Clare Trophy to be awarded to the best placed woman Liubov Chunikhovska at team UKR1 helmed by Sergey Pichuguin together with Sergey Ivansits they also won the Grand Masters Bowl. Florian Felzmann with this great finish of AUT 7 in his last year with 35 won the Paul Elvstrom Trophy.

Nothing was decided for the final podium the last race was the key. Despite a brilliant race from the YCBG GER 339 helmed by Donald Lippert sailing with Tim Giesecke and Sven Rikwald achieving a new bullet it was not enough since team Process Solutions HUN 11 managed to squeeze into 6th place which gave them a 2 point gap over the Berliners to win their 6th title of World Champion in the Soling Class at his home waters.

AUT 7 did enough to control team Carioba BRA 73 helmed by Kadu Bergenthal sailing with Vilnei Goldmeier and Edgar Oppitz by taking a 9th and the Brazilians a 16th place finally distributing the overall podium at the first 5 places 5 different countries and two continents. (HUN, GER, AUT, BRA, UKR).
Team Process Solutions also secured their special trophies Masters (age range) and the Mauzi Trophy as they had better final points without discards.

Next World Championship will be held in Texas around September 2027. A big North American fleet is expected a hopefully many travelers, as Houston was fleet number 1 of the USA when the class was created, a big historical moment, will Process Solutions attempt a 7th title?.
