Dear Soling Class sailors!

We have reached the end of 2024, we all should be satisfied of accomplishing many things after a year where our World Championship in Norway went smoothly with a great participation no matter how far travelers had to drive, or a great work done by SSA in Annapolis gathering a fabulous entry list for the North American Championship.
We also saw the start of the sailing exchange in South America once more despite all countries being submitted to economical challenges that makes everything difficult.
A new name arose in the ranking of the class for 2024 with Michael Dietzel and crew Hannes Ramoser from Germany achieving the top just enough ahead the Norwegian sailor Kristian Nergaard who only sailed three events or the team World Champion winner from Hungary with Farkas Litkey, Karoly Vezer and Kristof Wossala with only two events.
2025 is around the corner, many regattas missing to insert in the calendar but the one already there are the principal ones.
The first of our continental events will be around March/April with the South American Championship being held at the CNSI, Argentina dates to be finished these two weeks, it follows with the European Championship mid May in Italy (Mandello del Lario, Como Lake) and then the North Americans in Canada at the end of June in Canada(Kingston, Ontario). By the end of the year in November when sailing gets cold in the Northern Hemisphere we will celebrate our World Championship in Brazil (VDS, Porto Alegre).
Our class rules changes request were approved and these changes are now available at the website, please do not forget to read them.

We look forward to see you in 2025 at the race course, but now is time to celebrate Christmas and the end of the 2024, we wish you a great time with your family , some good gifts to use in the Soling.
