The past weekend of September 19 and 20, the legendary Cercle de la Voile de Paris (CVP) organized the 2024 Nationals on the Seine.
17 boats from the three French clubs hosts of Soling fleets met in this very beautiful club and surroundings of Paris.
All the conditions were met on Saturday to launch the four races, with a rather capricious but very present wind.

If the places of honor were quite disputed, the Godest brothers (Patrick and Herve) proved to be, as often, the finest helmsmen and trimmers at that arm of the Seine.

On Sunday, the forecasted wind was unfortunately not there, unlike the rain; after three hours of waiting, the decision was finally made to end the regatta, thus freezing the overall standings established the day before.
The atmosphere was nevertheless good-natured and many discussions allowed us to progress in technics, tactics and, above all, to promise to see each other again next year in greater numbers!
