Team ESP 146 sailed by Elosegui, Cuco and Jimenez wit constant sailing kept them at the lead at the Spanish Championsip, despite the whole results suffered a strong shift after 4 races sailed during this Saturday in Madrid. They placed a bullet on the first race of the day and then kept finishes on the top 5.
Team ESP 247 sailed by David Peralta, Jose Rincon and Vicente Escrigas made a big gain having two seconds a third and a nine during the day, but this score placed them second overall. Team ESP 14 sailed by Alfonso Carvajal, Angel Cayuela and Manuel Allo also improved substantially, they started slowly with a 6t then a fourth and closed the day with two bullets.

At this event the newest Soling built is making its debut, a Liebner produced in Bavaria for the French team sailed by Marc Lefevre, Daniel Kersimon and Francois Gombeaud, and equipped with a carbon mast produced by Cul Masten in Germany.
The owner is happy with the boat, and his overall comments were: “We are in Madrid with the new boat. very beautiful, we must get used to the new controls, and above all, take note of all settings. We have already had good feelings on this lake with fairly difficult winds. The simplicity of this new boat suits me, it seems very rigid and glides well. I find it very beautiful (fortunately!) and the carbon rig is magnificent. In general, the settings work well, they must be calibrated.”

The cherry of the cake for the day came in at the afternoon/night with the event dinner.
Tomorrow more races are scheduled.
