14 Teams from USA, Germany and Brasil contesting this special regatta being held out of the Veleiros do Sul at Porto Alegre.

On Friday only 5 races were held from the 7 proposed, two of them before a rain/windstorm came into the racecourse, teams were called to land and had to wait until the front was gone, then back again to the race course finishing three more races. After the storm the winds were nice from 8 to 10 knots.
On Saturday teams were able to complete the missing races, and then it came another storm, again they were sent back to land and had to wait, after the one was gone back to the water to complete all races from the qualifying series in an increasing wind from 5 to 15 knots to end up dying the one.

The qualifying series are 14 races in which each team races 8 races in 8 different boats. Boat swap happens in the water, and each team not racing provide one crew to help with on the water judging.

Tomorrow will it happen the gold and silver final, points starts from 0 again and the there is an extra race for middle pack to reorder and finish the fleet divisions, points that count double.
