This past Sunday Gyorgio Ivanovich Shaiduko at age 60, a Soling legend passed away. 

He was fantastic sailor representing his country, wining an European Championship title in 87 (Karlsham, SUE), two World Championship titles in 96 (Punta Ala, ITA) and 98(Milwaukee, USA) and the Silver Medal in Atlanta 96 at the Soling class, besides being a great Star class sailor and FD as well.

The International Soling Class  wishes his family strength
