Despite the recent covid restrictions being lifted and the weather forecast who probably scared some competitors, the light winds and thunderstorms, the SCK welcomed 14 motivated Soling teams to race th Austrian Championship in their club, especially those coming from as far as Berlin.

All team members were excited that finally after a long COVID winter regatta sailing started once more.
Unfortunately on Saturday no racing was possible. The race officer tried it in the morning, but the wind conditions were too weak, there was still nice weather but the front was coming.

The Weather forecast for Sunday was better, but with rainy conditions. Any way, a wet event allowed us in the morning to have three races with relatively stable and light wind conditions.

AUT 7 the team of Florian and Michael Felzmann and Stephan Beurle won the Austrian Championship with two first places and one fourth place showing they are candidates to retain soon a continental event.

GER 11 Michael and Sigrid Dietzel visitor from the Bayersich YC sailing with an infiltrated local sailor Martin Zeileis, who since earlier in the week was smartly checking the forecast through all the modern applications in his smartphone, but never leaving apart the old mountain sheperds knowledge did a great job finishing second just two points ahead AUT 7 taking home a bullet, a fourth and a third.

AUT 114 team Proofs Christian Binder, Christian Feichtinger and Klaus Kratochill the former champions in Austria had to be happy finishing third this time obtaining two third places and a fourth.
