The traditional Yacht Club Lega Navale Italiana, located at Mondello del Lario, Lake Como, Italy jumps into the Soling calendar to give a chance the 2021 continental event happens.
With the expectation, EU situation will soften on travel restrictions and allow the boat logistics from all corners of the continent .
The event new schedule marked for September 30 to October 3 will soon release its notice of race. All details are being prepared and will soon be available at the event website. .
The class calendar in 2021 will be quite compact from August to October holding the majority of events, still we do encourage locations holding events in different dates, if covid situation permits, to keep sailing the ones with their local fleets and possible visitors, the best way to promote the Soling fun racing.

Soling Europeans in Santander June 16-19, 2021 cancelled
Due to the current difficulties related to covid and the travel logistics within the European Union, in addition to slow vaccination rollout and the natural fear from many Soling competitors, the continental event scheduled for June 16 to 19 in Santander has been cancelled. Unfortunately, we were unable to delay this years Europeans for later in the year at the same venue which would have been ISA's ideal. The ISA executive and Championship Committee are disappointed for and with the Spanish Soling fleet who has shown good fleet growth during these past two years. They deserve their major event to keep pushing the fleet towards new levels and limits. The RCMS has made all possible efforts and we thank them as well, only hoping that they bid for a major championship soon either Worlds or Europeans in the upcoming 2023 or 2024 seasons.
