On the 30th of September the finale was planned for the Wednesdayevening regatta's on Lake Kralingen. Despite the stricter corona measures, the start was still allowed. The clubhouse had to be closed though, and the weekly dinner of Ed prior to the race was not possible. Instead we had some fries together on the shore.

It was a real Lake Kralingen wind: 2 BFT and wind shifts of 30/40 degrees. Four boats appeared at the start this final evening. The first race was won by NED 33, 2nd NED 37, 3rd NED 49 en 4th NED 38. The second race Bram Soethoudt was the first to cross the starting line and nobody saw him again until after the finish. NED 37 became 2nd, NED 33 3rd and NED 49 4th.

After 29 races the Wednesday evening competition was overall won by Rudy den Outer with the NED 33.

SCN thanks the RZV for organising this competition. In Corona time we were still able to sail every Wednesday on Lake Kralingen for three months. We thanks KZC for their hospitality and Ed for all the dinners.
