Yesterday the training sessions in the Soling have resumed on Lake Kralingen. Since last week we are allowed to exercise sport (not competitive) is groups above the age of 19. However we do have to take 1.5 meter social distancing into account. After ample discussion with the city council of Rotterdam we can now sail the Soling again only with two persons onboard. We also have to put reflex lines on deck and hull to remind us to keep the required distance.

Anyhow yesterday we could do some training starts with the help of the Rotterdamsche Zeil Vereeniging. The NED 33 and 38 were present as were 42 lasers (all sorts). The first training start was as 18:55 for the Soling. The second about one hour later. After the training the terrace of the Kralingsche Zeil Club was open for SDS (Social Distance Socializing). At 21:30 hell broke lose when heavy rains came down on the terrace and in the distance thunderstorms had there way. Some area's had over 60mm of rain.

Next week some more Solings and les rain is expected.

Keep sailing

Rudy
