On behalf of the Milwaukee Bay Soling Fleet, I would like to officially welcome you and your family to join us for the 2020 Soling World Championship at Milwaukee Yacht Club. Milwaukee has become wonderful place that we call home. It is ideally located and has an accessible lake front, fabulous restaurants and pubs within walking distance and a spectacular art museum. Milwaukee is nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee Bay - 90 minutes North of Chicago and East of Madison – GO BADGERS! Parking at Milwaukee Yacht Club (MYC) allows your walk, bike or run to downtown as your enjoy all the scenery and night life or enjoy a 3 mile coastal stroll along a portion of the Oak Leaf Trail.

September brings us big wind and waves as you race on our beloved lake offering you wide-open fresh water, you cannot see the other side! Kicking off the event on Monday & Tuesday with measurement and a practice race on Tuesday followed by the opening Ceremony (carbo load with the delicious pasta bar).
The Milwaukee Bay Soling fleet has planned an outstanding event with many social activates to supplement the sailing for you, your crew, and your family. Bringing back the Oktoberfest to Milwaukee, Hofbrau beer will be flowing and we will celebrate our German Heritage during this festive time of year.
Fuel up every morning before racing at MYC with breakfast – smoked fish, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit – oh my! After racing activities include dinner hosted by Milwaukee on Wednesday, Thursday join us for tour of Pabst Brewery, explore the city on Friday, and Saturday we will celebrate the season with an Oktoberfest themed dinner.

Cheers!
