All competitors are informed about the prescription about the COVID spread limitations and contrasts, included in the Italian Federation 's protocol. Failure to follow these guidelines, they will be notified by the Organizing Authority to the Government Authorities.
DP: Rules for which penalties are upon the Protests Committee. Depending on the seriousness of the breach of point 1.3, the penalty may be from a minimum of 10% to a disqualification.
NP: Rules that may not be ground of protests between boats (this changes RRS60.1(a)

a) The race will be governed by the Rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2017-2020, by the Normativa FIV per l'Attivita? Sportiva Nazionale 2020 with the prescriptions which have to be considered ' rules'

i) Rule 42.3(b) is modified by Soling Class Rule C.9.1; as permitted by RRS 86.1( c ), RRS 2.3 ( c ) is altered to: Except on a beat to windward, when surfing (rapidly accelerating down the leeward side of a wave) or planing is possible, the crew may pull the sheet controlling any sail in order to initiate surfing or planing, but not more than twice for each wave or gust of wind.The pumping of the main sheet directly from the main sheet boom block is permitted. In addition, pumping of the spinnaker guy is permitted at all times without restriction. In this part of the Rule "pumping of the spinnaker guy" means repeatedly trimming and releasing the guy by any means. Moving the body as necessary to pump the guy is permitted and shall not be considered to be ooching (see RRS 42.2 ( c )), nor shall any rolling of the boat caused by such reasonably necessary movements be considered rocking (see RRS 42.2 (b)).
3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
The event is open to all SOLING boats.
Foreign competitors must comply with all rules provided by their National Authorities about sailing license and medical certificate and they shall be members of the class.
Each sailor 18 years old on the first day of the regatta shall bring at registration a completed parent/guardian consent form. For the duration of the regatta, each sailor under 18 years old shall be supervised by the responsible adult named on the parent/guardian consent form sailor shall bring at registration a completed parent/guardian consent form. They take the minors' responsibility to race during the event.
4. ENTRIES and ENTRY FEE
4.1 As per 'protocol' entries shall be submitted on the website www.circolovelatorbole.com within 30/09/2020.
4.2 Within 17/08/2020 all sailors shall pay the euro 240,00 entry fee by bank transfer:

If the payment will be made after 30/09/2020 the entry fee will be euros 280,00.
4.3 An email shall be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following documents (please type on the object the name of the sailor and the sail number):
- entry fee payment
- Crew list
- Measurement certificate
- Valid insurance with a third part liability with a minimum cover of euros 1.500,00.
7 races are scheduled, with a maximum of 3 races a day.
Thursday October 8th
10.00 - 13.00 / 14.00 - 17.00 : registration
Friday October 9th
10.30 Skipper meeting (as per protocol point C.8 only one crew member wearing face mask shall attend the meeting)
12.30 First Warning Signal (3 races scheduled)
Saturday October 10th
2 races scheduled
Sunday October 11th
2 races scheduled - prize giving
The Warning Signal of the 1st Race will be given at 12.30 of Friday 9th .
The Warning Signal of the following races will be scheduled by means of notice at the official board and on the event website before 20.00, otherwise the time of the previous day will be in force.
On the last day of the regatta no warning signal will be made after 16.00.
6. MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATE AND INSURANCE [DP] [NP]
All boats must have a valid measurement certificate of conformity. No measurement checks are scheduled.
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of euro 1.500.000,00 per event or the equivalent.
Any competitor under the age of 18 years will be required to obtain parental/guardian written consent.

The RRS Appendix A - Low Point Scoring will apply.
If 5 or less races will be sailed, the scoring will be the total of the points. If more than 5 races will be sailed, the score will be the amount of all races excluding the worst one.
Two races are required to complete the regatta. Three races are required to award the Italian Champion.
Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 overall and the top 3 Italian teams. The Dino Shiesaro Thropy will be awarded to the first crew overall.
12. SUPPORT BOATS [DP] [NP]
All support people shall register by filling the form available on the regatta's website and sending the form filled back to email@example.com declaring:
- support boat characteristics
- the acceptance of the ìrules for support people and support boat' in the SI
- names of associate sailors.
Support people shall be subordinated to the RC and Jury technical and disciplinary guidelines whom shall act against them under RRS 64.4
13. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
As per Rule 4, Decision to Race, Competitors attend this regatta entirely at their own risk; competitors and their support persons are the only responsible for the decision to attend or continue the regatta.
The organizing authority, the race Committee, the jury and people collaborating to the event will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after this regatta.
It shall be the sole responsibility of the helmsman, the crew and their support person to decide upon their skills, wind, weather whether or not to race or to continue the race
14. RIGHT TO USE NAME AND LIKENESS
Competitors automatically grant to the Organizing Authority and the sponsors of the Event, the full right in perpetuity, to make, use and show, from time to time and at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or film television and other reproductions of him/her during the period of the competition in this event in which the competitor participates and in all material related to the said event without compensation.
16. CAR PARKING
The car parking will be free only due to the exposition of the of the regatta coupon available in office. The club denied any responsibility of any kind of fees given to cars not complying with this regulation.
17. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Single use plastic bottles are forbidden inside the club.
