Team ICO (BRA 73), Kadu Bergenthal, Vilnei Goldmeier and Edgard Opptiz sailing perfect the gold fleet race, winning both races scheduled for the finals a solid performance to win the Friendship League over team Drakkar (BRA 128) Dennis Koch, Andre Gick and Eduardo Carneiro who achieved two seconds. Team Coringa (BRA 88) sailed by Andre Warlich, Carlos Trein and Roger Lamb with a third and a fourth kept the podium ahead the Canadian team (CAN 225) with Peter Hall, Fernando Ilha and Marcelo Jordao.

The two teams that entered the gold fleet at the last recall race, team Equilibrium (BRA 78) with Nelson Ilha, Manfredo Floricke and Felipe Ilha and team Geyer (BRA 28) with Gustavo Geyer, Felippe Kulpa and Gustavo Santos could not perform at the finals and didn't manage to climb positions not menacing the 6 teams that qualified at the round-robins.

The League consolidated its format and the next event with same format will be a announced soon. In South America the next event continues next weekend with the Brazilian Championship being held at the same yacht club.
