The RStLYC could not hold a single race at the first day of the regatta. A nice high pressure system was above Montreal at least to provide sailors the good weather...But no wind....
Peter Hall after the race was abandoned for the day organized a petit city tour.

By 1900hs the RStLYC hosted the dinner, where two menues were available, Chicken or Salmon with Tiramisu as dessert.

Henry Thomas from USA 852 was the day’s winner ( in a withdrawal) achieving a bottle of Vodka with some flavor produced in Montreal.

For Friday an early start at 1000hs which means boats going out aroubd 0830 and 4 races are scheduled.
