After 6 hours of waiting at the offshore race course, a race attempt that was abandoned after only 4 boats rounded the offset mark and the other 19 tried to round the windward mark all together, the day of racing was aborted, but usually as it never fails, an hour later the boats are in their slips, the wind comes nicely.

The only upwind sailed saw happy FRA 208 helmed by Marc Lefevre sailing with Karine Filmon and Francois Gombeaud round the mark first and behind GER 1 helmed by Roman Koch sailing with Bjorn Geisler and Elena Strauch, they were followed by Olympians NOR 100 helmed by Rune Jacobsen sailing with Thom Beinhard and Terje Sorteberg and NOR 124 helmed by Herman Horn Johannessen sailing with Cesar Horn Johannessen and Carl Horn Johannessen. The two newest boats in the fleet “Liebner boats” both with Carbon Masts (Cul Masten) and both teams sailing with beautiful girls disputing the reloaded trophy had the best sensation at the Marina Bar once all boats were towed into, right before some more rain.

Tomorrow the forecast shows 13 to 15 knots of wind, for sure the Race Committee will attempt three races, and despite all regulations, there are discussions regarding to allow 4 races if conditions are proper, since the forecast for the last day of racing looks more intense than the first day.
