Strong winds, heavy seas but a fantastic sun and actually some sail to all boats who initially went out after the briefing morning. At the outside course the Race Committee vessel started to set the course but they were not confident with the reefs and shallows close to the starting area, something sailors in such situation would have to deal with but due to the safety they decided to move to the inside the fjord race course, all teams had that sail through puffy gusts, some quite extremes.
The condition inside the fjord was no different, with heavy and unpredictable extreme puffs despite the flat water, the close set of the race course to the different islands made it no safer, then all Solings were sent to the harbor.
After the Race Committee gave its briefing explaining his actions the ISA executive decided to call for the Annual General Meeting and Annual Committee Meeting, the extended up to 1900hs but was concluded and sailors now will only focus on sailing and partying after the sailing.
Today Thursday three races are set, a lighter wind is expected, rain as well, although the morning looks more clear than expected.
