Team AUT 100 from Traunsee came to Rescia to sail at the Reschensee at this first Alpen Cup event post pandemia, and with most local Solings, by the way a big fleet taking part, some to score in all three events (Erich Hirt, Alpen Cup and Zipfer Trophy ) which will lead to the Alpen Ranking, their determination and lake experience was a key obtaining 5 bullets and only top finishes .

The second place went to a mixed team with GER 1 and ITA 252 (Roman Koch, Alberto de Amicis and Marco de Amicis) due to one boat of them being under repair after their own crash at the Erich Hirt. The two-joining lead into a great result with two bullets out of eight races but all finishes within the top 4th.

In third came after a long-time hibernating GER 311 (Heino Shuckmann, Professor Markus Stallhofer and Tobias Franke) another team with only top finishes but only one bullet.

The first day of racing had nice winds with 10 knots and sunny day at the lake, boats were racing at the East side of the lake, the same one that was selected to host the Italian Championship for 2023 and had to cancel it since it is an artificial lake, and the reservoir was emptied during July. Next year it will happen again therefore the SVR has to wait until 2025 to put forward their Italian Championship, together now with the Circolo Vela Bellano are the two numerous fleet in Italy.

The Alpen Ranking will continue next week, but this time at the UYCAs (Attersee Lake ) where there are 34 entries already for the crowdest event for the year, AUT 100 like GER 308 (winner at the Erich Hirt) are strong contenders to lift the maximum prize at the Ranking, but nothing is said so since team UKR 2 or GER 311 and GER 11 will also be sailing the traditional event in Austria.
