The 53rd Brazilian Soling Championship was finished last sunday (6), at Veleiros do Sul, Porto Alegre. The tournament was sailing by ten boats, with 6 regattas in three days. Check the final release below:

Don't Let Me Down, of the commander Cícero Hartmann, Flávio Quevedo e André Renard, became the two-time champion of the Brazilian Soling Championship, with 7 ppts. Second place went to the current South American champions on the ICOboat, by Kadu Bergenthal, Vilnei Goldeimer and Edgar Oppitz, third place went to Dennis Bariani Koch, Eduardo Carneiro and André Gick on the Drakkar X boat. Talagaço, by Carlo De Leo, Thiago Knippling and Caetano dos Anjo, was the winner of the Classic category.

The award ceremony was held after the class disputes, in which the Soling Flotilla Captain, Felippe Kulpa, the Deputy Sports Commodore, Luiz Gustavo Geyer de Oliveira, the President of the Deliberative Council, Mr. Luiz Gustavo Tarragô de Oliveira, the National and International (ISAF) Presidents of the Soling class, Dennis Koch and Nelson Ilha, in addition to the illustrious presence of Neptune, who participated in the award ceremony. The 53rd Brazilian Soling Championship was organized by Veleiros do Sul, the Brazilian Sailing Confederation (CBVela) and the Brazilian Soling Association.
