With two international visitors the Italian Championship also has great participation, missing only representatives from the Tuscany area.
Three races were held on the first day of racing with about 10 knots of wind, decreasing to about 7 knots for the last race .
Former class president Michael Dietzel with Martin Zeileis and Hannes Ramoser coming from the Bayern region and sailing GER 11 took the best of the day winning the first two races and finishing second on the last one.
Bruno, Pierfrancesco and Marco Maffezzoli coming from the neighbor lake (Garda) had also a great day being the followers in the first two races and then achieving their bullet placing themselves to be the best Italian team at the event.
Local guru Alberto de Amicis sailing with son Marco and Luca Negri with two fourths and a third join the teams at the podium, but the event is far from finishing, today three more races are schedule and afterwards an Italian barbeque at the beautiful Bellano town.
The championship will finish on Sunday
