Racing was cancelled (50 knots at the Annapolis yellow bout at 1200 hrs) and all hands joined in the move Solings to higher ground as easterly winds pushed the Annapolis Harbor water levels to 5' above normal mean tide.
Oysters and chowder later made it all fun. Sailors are ready for the great weather predicted for Saturday and Sunday. Oh, and Meltemi USA 857 (Olsen Campia, Trevelyan & Yakutis) were first to finish the “modified ice bowl” at the mouth if the Severn. Congratulations and good luck to all tomorrow.
