Light wind racing in Brasil past weekend

The weekend again it was time for more Soling sailing in Porto Alegre, Brazil. No matter how cold it was, the weather was good, light winds that only allowed one race each day.

Races were held at the Cristal racecourse, close to the Yacht Club, with an average wind speed of 5 knots, quite light The second race of each day had to be cancelled due that the one died by the afternoon.

The weekend regatta was won by BRA 56 team Equilibrium with Nelson Ilha, Dudu Carneiro e Taís Quevedo, new crew names in the class and more beautiful ladies enjoying the Soling, they managed to win the first race and then placed a third under the foggy Sunday. BRA 86 team Don't let me Down with Cicero Hartmann, Frederico Sidou and Andre Renard ended in second place after a slow start with a 4th but winning the race on Sunday. The podium was completed by BRA 45 team El Demolidor with Kadu Bergenthal, Beto Trein and Roger Lamb.
