24th South Brazilian Championship upcoming next weekend

The 24th edition of the South Brazilian Championship will happen on June 12 and 13, being hosted by the traditional yacht club Veleiros do Sul. The event was initially scheduled for May but due an accident suffered by a class family member , the class decided to postpone the one.

The championship have 5 races scheduled starting on 2pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday at the Pedra Redonda race area, using the windward/leeward course.

On Sunday after the races the prize giving will be held awarding the three best teams following all covid protocols with social distancing.

Sailors are eager to sail and with visitors from Rio Grande, 9 or more boats are expected to take part in the event.
The notice of race was published at: https://www.soling.com/noticeofrace.asp?EventoID=1326 and the deadline for the entries will be on Saturday at noon time(12hs).

The last time this championship was sailed was in 2019 and it was El Demolidor BRA 45 sailed by Kadu Bergenthal, Eduardo Cavalli and Renan Oliveira the winners.
