The Canadian Soling Association has been busy over the past months organizing for our exciting 2013 season. The North American schedule has been set and looks to be full of great events with good friends.
Two new events are part of the Canadian schedule this year, the Donker Memorial Regatta May 18-19 and the DYC Regatta in Port Dalhousie June 8-9 . We look forward to supporting these new venues.
Most teams are travelling regularly with many boats expected to make the trip to the US Championships in Annapolis and other events such as the historic McNulty regatta in Milwaukee. Plattsburgh is again part of the circuit and is this year´s host of the North American Championships, can´t wait to visit beautiful Lake Champlain again!
Plans are underway for Port Stanley to again host the Canadian Championships with the expectation that the 2013 event will be even more enjoyable and successful than the 2011 regatta. Three days of racing are scheduled for Sept 6, 7, 8 with the focus on lots of good racing and a relaxed and fun social atmosphere.
So get your tires greased and bearings inflated in preparation for the most fun filled Soling Sailing Season yet!!
See you on the water, Cookie
