The orginizing Committee resolved the problem of the limited draft in the local darsena, with a new agreement with the Cantiere Navale 71, the Shipyard that is closed to the CVCP, where the Solings will be moored in a 2 meters draft part of the Channel.

A new team from Spain already sent his entry, with Jaime Alonso Allende, Guillermo Parodi Kel and Tomas Peuvrel sailing il the Jaime Martinez`s boat.

The reigning European Champion Roman Koch with his team Max Koch and Gregor Bornemann will be again in Castiglione, where they won the 2005 Worlds.

The Spring Trophy will be the first event of the second Italian Soling Circuit that will follow with the Italian Open in Bellano (Como Lake, in May), the Vittorio Porta Trophy in Lovere (Iseo Lake, in July) and the Garda Cup in Riva del Garda (Garda Lake, in mid September). The Italian fleet will sail in Castiglione with 9-10 boats.
